Third, Blue Dot’s mNOW! Mobile Framework provides a systems administrator layer to manage communications, connection status, and the overall administration services of the Middleware. Lastly, the fourth layer of the product provides sophisticated Business Integration Services, including eight powerful integration options ranging from traditional file integration to full Web Services capability.
Although Blue Dot’s mNOW! Mobile Framework is the ideal fit for the novice mobile administrator; the architecture also provides extremely rich functionality and support for software developers. Because mNOW! and the configurable XML application builder mWARE enable batch, “right-time”, and real-time mobile applications, Blue Dot’s architecture is extremely versatile. With mWARE’s event driven scripting, virtually any application workflow and logic can be supported within the product. Throughout the mobile application, this allows actions to invoke real time calls to a backend system, to an embedded database, or to perform custom behavior unique to your business process. This event level scripting, controlled through XML configuration, provides total flexibility to Blue Dot customers and a mobile platform to grow within the enterprise.
