Integration

Challenge
As organizations look beyond a specific mobile solution and begin to meet multiple departmental needs and/or mobilize multiple applications within the enterprise, they require a mobile infrastructure that can support integration with a wide variety of back-end systems and integration approaches. The alternative is a collection of inflexible ‘stove-pipe’ solutions, each with potentially separate software stacks which may result in higher TCO (e.g. licensing costs, maintenance costs, software development & support skills, training costs, etc.), difficulties in administering a uniform security model, complexities with testing, and an increase in software defects.
