Management Team

Mick Milnark - COO
Now in his 10th year with Blue Dot, Mick’s current role is to lead the strategic direction of the company, oversee day-to-day operations and specifically apply his expertise to the overall growth of sales.  Mick also plays an important strategic role in relationships with key business partners, customers and new business opportunities on a situational basis.  With 15+ years experience in the mobile computing industry, Mick continues to share his hands on experience internally and externally, applying real-world consulting expertise with customers to drive ROI and continual operational efficiencies.

Prior to his employment with Blue Dot, Mick was the founder and owner of Inventory Rescue Squad, an inventory-consulting and logistics business focused on automating labor through mobile computing. In addition to running the company and directly driving new business opportunities, Mick was responsible for overseeing as many as 60 field representatives. Including his tenure at Blue Dot, Mick brings 11 years experience in the mobile computing market. Mick has a BS in marketing from Bowling Green State University, with a minor in computer science.

Gary Blohm - CBO
Now in his eighth year with Blue Dot, Gary’ role is to co-lead the strategic direction of the company while specifically overseeing Blue Dot’s brand strategy and marketing direction. Additionally, Gary provides strategic leadership to key business development opportunities in support of Blue Dot’s overall sales and marketing objectives.

Gary’s background ranges from branding, marketing and sales-management positions with large technology organizations to key leadership roles with early-stage technology companies. Specifically, and prior to joining Blue Dot Gary spent 8+ years in the optical networking space.  During this time Gary spent three years with Cisco Systems in sales management.  While at Cisco, Gary utilized that background to manage key strategic accounts and drive marketing initiatives by introducing emerging products into the telecommunications space. Prior to joining Cisco, Gary spent a few years with LighTech Fiberoptics, an early-stage technology company, driving its key marketing and sales initiatives. Gary has a BS from Adelphi University and a graduate degree from Hofstra University.

Randy Starr - VP of Technology
Randy joined Blue Dot in 2005 and continues to provide continuity to Blue Dot’s management team as VP of Technology.  A true technologist at heart, Randy plays a key role in mobile-technology decisions being incorporated into Blue Dot’s Advanced Mobile – Packaged Mobile Application Platform. He oversees many facets of Blue Dot’s sales-engineering team and provides technical evangelism and marketing support.  As a veteran of the enterprise mobile industry, he also serves as internal customer for all Blue Dot product development initiatives.     

Prior to joining Blue Dot, Randy was Director of Technology for Countermind, a mobile-framework company based just outside of Denver, Colorado. Randy led the mobile technology strategy for Countermind’s Mobile Intelligence Platform, including product vision, evolution of product road map, product positioning and technical sales support.  Randy’s mobile experience also includes his role as the National Practice Manager for Interlink Group’s Mobile and Wireless Solutions Practice. At Interlink (now EMC), Randy was responsible for developing the product strategy for an application framework/tool set that enabled the rapid development and deployment of highly repeatable mobile and wireless solutions. Randy is an experienced software engineer in a variety of software languages, integration tool sets, and mobile framework-related technologies. He studied computer science and business management at Montana State University.

Eric RobertsVP of Technical Operations
Eric Roberts joined Blue Dot in 2007 with more than 15 years experience managing areas of product development, professional services, customer support, network operations and IT across a wide variety of industries. As VP of Technical Operations, Eric continues with these responsibilities, bringing “best-of-breed” process and management skills in assisting Blue Dot to accomplish its goals and mission.  He is specifically responsible for the operational management of Blue Dot’s product development and professional services resources in North America, and plays a critical role to ensure Blue Dot customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining Blue Dot, Eric was a Senior Global Program Manager for Thomson Reuters, applying Agile practices and other styles to the delivery of core financial products.  Eric worked closely with management and led teams in Asia, Europe and the United States.  Prior to Thomson Reuters, Eric was a co-founder and executive at a California-based software company, where he led product development and project office groups.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has earned PMP, CSP (Certified Scrum Practitioner) and ITIL (Service Management) certifications.

Liz Pecoraro - VP of Finance
With 8+ years as part of Blue Dot’s management team, Liz oversees all Blue Dot financial functions globally including accounting, banking, financial trending/analysis, and related functions.  Liz’s financial leadership and expertise enable Blue Dot’s continued growth and profitability, and her contributions are an integral part of daily business operations and strategic planning.

Liz’s background includes 18 years of public and private accounting.  Prior to joining Blue Dot in 2001, Liz was a Vice President with First Data Corporation for eight years.  Her responsibilities included corporate accounting functions to support an initial public offering.  In addition, she led a $75 million business unit as the General Manager, overseeing sales, marketing, operations and financial functions.  Prior to First Data, Liz spent several years traveling internationally for Bristol Myers Squibb Corporation as an internal auditor.  She started her career with Ernst and Young, where she earned her CPA designation.  Liz has a BS from the University of Richmond.

Andrew Gow – International Technical Director
Andrew joins Blue Dot after four years as Technical Director for Design and Report Teams (DART), a mobile-implementation specialist and one of Blue Dot's leading UK partners.  As International Technical Director for Blue Dot, Andrew oversees all product development and professional services resources internationally.  His experience and leadership in the industry also uniquely enables Andrew to provide technical sales support to key Blue Dot customers and partners, while
ensuring customer satisfaction through proper expectation setting and the management of International operations.

In his role with DART, Andrew was responsible for establishing strategic business alliances and overseeing all major project implementations, combining hands-on customer-implementation experiences with strategy planning. He is leveraging his current knowledge and working relationship with long-standing Blue Dot partner Infor, a $3.2 billion ERP software vendor that private-labels Blue Dot's Packaged Mobile Application Platform as Advanced Mobile for Infor.  Additionally, Andrew
will provide continuity and leadership to Infor and Infor customers as part of his continued
role with Blue Dot.

Prior to his role as a Director, Andrew worked within DART as a Senior Solution Architect, implementing Blue Dot’s Advanced Mobile – Packaged Mobile Application Platform for various enterprise customers in the UK.  Before working in the UK, Andrew was a consultant specializing in EAM and ERP installations and upgrades in Australia, where he studied for his Computer Science degree at Wollongong University.
