mNOW! Meter Exchange

In the past the meter exchange process was documented on paper work order forms. At the end of the day, field technicians would sort their forms and fax them to the company’s main office where four to five full-time people would validate and enter the data into a backend database. Today, field technicians exchanging older style meters with new smart meters can now be assigned work orders, via a mobile device, retrieve the data associated with that work order, process and forward that data to the utility backend system in a very efficient and accurate manner.
