Course Overview
This course provides hands-on experience building mobile applications using the mNOW! Mobile Framework Version 7.0. The course will include extensive training on 3 mNOW! modules, including the mNOW! Application Design Tool®, mNOW! Command Center,  and mNOW! GO. Attendees will leave this 3-day course with full knowledge of how to configure the mobile user interface, create a transaction and embedded database, define replication publications and subscriptions, create Deployment Packages, and monitor and manage the entire mobile solution. In addition, each participant will complete a sample end-to-end mobile application, complete with database integration.

You Will Learn To:

  • Install mNOW! Mobile Framework 7.0
  • Use the configuration options of mNOW! Mobile Framework 7.0
  • Build and test mobile applications using mNOW! Application Design Tool 7.0
    • Design mobile forms using the Visual Form Designer
    • Develop business logic using mNOW! XMLR scripting language
    • Interact with the Communications Agent using the Extensibility API
  • Create an embedded database for lookup and transaction data.
  • Create an integrationdatabase and define replication publications / subscriptions for synchronization.
  • Implement authentication and authorization services used by the mNOW! Mobile Framework 7.0
  • Create Deployment Packages and schedule device updates
  • Use the Command Center to monitor and manage the entire mobile solution.
