>> Overview Blue Dot’s mNOW!® Mobile Framework 2008 builds upon the Microsoft technology stack, and represents a major enhancement to the industry-leading Packaged Mobile Application Platform. First introduced in 2002, mNOW! is the underlying mobile products, tools, and solutions platform for hundreds of customers and tens of thousands Windows and Windows Mobile users. The focus of the mNOW! Mobile Framework 2008 release is to increase the speed, efficiency, and quality of developing enterprise-grade mobile applications. Newly released, mfLY!® for Visual Studio 2008 is a Windows Mobile MVC Framework and Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) that extends Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2008 to provide unsurpassed visual guidance and efficiency for developing a wide variety of enterprise-grade mobile applications. Improvements to the current mNOW! Mobile Framework 2008 environment will also include modifications for the improved usability of the mCORE!® Command Center, mCORE!® Communication Agent and other server infrastructure components. To support these changes, as well as ongoing enhancements to the mNOW! Mobile Framework 2008, a developer community portal is now available. The portal will include documentation for all products and tools, the ability to download trial software, and a user forum for development knowledge sharing, bug tracking, open communication, and more. The Blue Dot product development team will utilize this collaborative nature of the portal to prioritize our research and development efforts, and sub sequentially builds a new features list for future releases of the mNOW! Mobile Framework 2009. The mNOW! Mobile Framework 2008 is the embodiment of over 20 years of enterprise mobile experience and is used by end users, system integrators, and ISVs to quickly build, deploy, and manage low risk / high value mobile data capture solutions for all industries and vertical markets.
