Blue Dot Positioned in Gartner Group Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Access Gateways, 2007

Denver, CO – November 26, 2007 – Blue Dot Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise mobile software, tools, and services, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. as a Niche software provider in the Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Access Gateway Magic Quadrant, 2007 report.  

Gartner developed the report to guide enterprises evaluating mobile solutions.  As part of the analysis, Gartner selected twenty- three vendors to be included in the report from a vendor pool of approximately 300-plus organizations..  In the report, Gartner estimates “by 2010, 50% of enterprises will have migrated away from tactical mobile silos (supporting a single application) to strategic platforms capable of supporting multiple applications, managing devices, and securing data and transport.”

1. System Dashboard - Monitors several KPI’s for a snapshot visual overview of the entire mobile system health and performance
2. Device Management - Displays all known mobile devices and their particularly device state, deployment history and communications activity. Also includes management capability to remote control devices, initiate messaging, and control security.
3. Package Builder -  Creates, schedules, and manages deployment packages (new application version updates) to a targeted group of mobile users. 
4. Report Viewer – Select and view a variety of exception-based system reporting, as well as configure new reports through the flexibility and power of SQL Reporting Services.
