mNOW! Mobile Framework^® v7 Officially Released

Blue Dot Solutions is proud to announce the release of mNOW! Mobile Framework® v7 – a major enhancement to the industry leading enterprise mobility platform that includes the highly anticipated mNOW! Command Center, a new state-of-the-art Web Services 2.0 –based mNOW! Communications Server, and new features and enhancements to the highly extensible mNOW! Integration Engine.

The focus of this major release is enterprise-grade device and server management.  Over the last several months, Blue Dot’s technical marketing team has been demonstrating the new functionality to Blue Dot’s existing customers and new prospects.  “The feedback has been very positive and with the introduction of the Command Center, the mNOW! Mobile Framework now has the most comprehensive suite of tools and infrastructure - from application design & development to wired/wireless communications management to server monitoring & device management capabilities – incorporated in a single integrated enterprise-grade mobility framework”, notes Blue Dot Solutions VP of Technology, Randy Starr.

A sample of the new functionality introduced in the mNOW! Mobile Framework v7 and specifically the mNOW! Command Center includes but is not limited to:

mNOW! Command Center

• The System Dashboard Plug In allows an administrator to configure and register an unlimited number of mNOW! Communication Server instances, and to monitor several KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
  
  
• The Device Management Plug In allows and administrator to create and manage logical mobile device communities, to centrally create and provision mobile applications, updates, and system patches, and to retrieve and monitor a variety of device information.
  
  
• The Package Builder Plug In allows an administrator to create and manage deployment packages that can be assigned to any mobile device community.  Packages created can be assigned to specific groups &scheduled. 
  
  
• The Report Viewer Plug In allows and administrator to select and view a variety of system reports such as Device Activity, Device Summaries, Communications Exceptions & Incomplete Data Transfer Sessions.
