FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE International Technical Director joins Blue Dot
Glasgow, Scotland - October 14, 2009 - Blue Dot, a leading provider of enterprise mobile software, tools, and services, is excited to announce the hiring of executive Andrew Gow who will lead and oversee Blue Dot's EMEA mobile computing practice. Andrew has joined Blue Dot as International Technical Director, and will specifically manage all facets of Blue Dot's growing international business with a particular focus on driving increased customer satisfaction, solution delivery, and new market penetration. Andrew joins Blue Dot after 4 years as Technical Director for Design and Report Teams (DART), a mobile implementation specialist and one of Blue Dot's leading UK partners. In his role with DART, Andrew was responsible for establishing strategic business alliances and overseeing all major project implementations, combining both hands-on customer implementation experiences with strategy planning. Prior to his role as a Director, Andrew worked within DART as a senior Solution Architect implementing the mNOW! Mobile Framework for various enterprise customers in the UK. Serving as International Technical Director for Blue Dot, Andrew will have daily oversight on projects analysis, solution definition and technical recommendations to ensure customer implementation success. Andrew will also lead technical sales for Blue Dot, playing a pivotal role as a key sales support liaison for EMEA mobile business opportunities. Leveraging his current knowledge and working relationship with long standing Blue Dot partner Infor, a $3.2 billion ERP software vendor who packages Blue Dot's mNOW! Mobile Framework as Infor Advanced Mobile, Andrew will provide continuity and leadership to Infor and Infor customers.
