VFA selects mNOW!^® Mobile Framework for Mobile Inspection Survey Project

February 19, 2007, Denver, CO – VFA, a leading provider of facilities capital planning software and services, has selected Blue Dot’s mNOW!® Mobile Framework for a Mobile Inspection Survey project. The resulting solution, developed jointly by Blue Dot Professional Services and VFA, will use a Windows XP Tablet Edition PC to facilitate on-site surveys that will collect data about more than 2,500 bank branches of a major financial institution, as well as digital images. Data collected in the field will then be provided to VFA’s flagship software product, VFA.facility®, and used to create capital projects, plans and budgets.

To date, VFA.facility has been used by financial services institutions, as well as organizations in the government, education and healthcare sectors, to manage over two billion square feet of real estate assets.
