CoServ selects Blue Dot for Mobile Service Order Management Solution

June 13, 2008 - Corinth, TX – Denton County Electric Cooperative, dba CoServ Electric, a provider of reliable electric power to more than 135,000 residential, commercial and industrial members in North Texas, has selected Blue Dot’s product and services for their enterprise Mobile Service Order Management Project.

CoServ has contracted Blue Dot’s Professional Services Group to design and implement a Service Order Management solution with the unique capability to electronically Assign Service Orders to individual field technicians. The mobile application will leverage components of Blue Dot’s mNOW! Work Management template, with specific modification to accommodate CoServ’s specific business requirements. The mCORE! Command Center will include a Work Assignment Plug-In, enabling a CoServ administrator to assign and manage Service orders to field technicians. The mCORE! Command Center will also provide CoServ with the standard modules of device management, application provisioning, reporting, and overall system monitoring. Blue Dot’s flagship product, the mNOW Mobile Framework 2008, is the underlying mobile infrastructure and technology for the all-encompassing enterprise mobile solution. Implement Service Orders to the field via mobile devices and replace manual processes
