Our Agile methodology provides Blue Dot customers with prioritized functionality in a bi-weekly iterative release model, enabling visibility of “live” functionality from early in the project thru completion. In project kickoff and initial Sprint planning, the collective Blue Dot and customer team will establish the prioritized features for this iterative release approach. In the Agile Methodology approach, as individual Sprints are completed and released, a velocity for project schedule is established. The velocity defines the speed for which individual features/Sprints can be expected for delivery, and accounts for both Blue Dot development speed as well as our customer’s involvement/action items to the project. Once the velocity is established, it becomes an accurate measure for overall schedule of continued feature/Sprint releases. Prior to establishing a velocity for the project, Blue Dot uses more traditional estimating procedures to determine an initial target schedule. Our tailored Agile implementation process for mobile computing solutions builds projects around motivated individuals and provides them the environment, support, and trust to deliver successful mobile solutions with utmost quality. Blue Dot is certified in Agile Project Delivery, and will ensure a Scrum Master to lead all project management and development activities.
