Challenge
Managing security risk is critical in the implementation of an enterprise mobility workforce solution in today’s environment. Specific challenges include protecting critical data on the mobile device from unwanted access, ensuring invalid mobile users do not gain access to the corporate network via the mobile device, and that all data is secure while being synchronized across all network channels.

Applying mNOW!
The mNOW! Mobile Framework^® provides robust security features to ensure data is protected and unwanted users are forbidden access. Within the mNOW! GO module, all configuration and application data is encrypted within a local device store accessible only by the mobile application. mNOW! supports single sign-on with user authentication through Active Directory or LDAP services, and/or custom configured rules for user authentication.  mNOW!-based applications can be configured to automatically log the current user out of the application and return to the login screen after a specified period of inactivity. All communications between the mNOW! application and server can be compressed and encrypted and additional protection can be provided through SSL and/or other network specific features.
