Advanced Mobile Technology Suite

Our Advanced Mobile - Packaged Mobile Application Platform is built on the Microsoft technology stack. It leverages the power of the world’s leading operating systems, frameworks and infrastructure products, such as Windows and Windows Mobile, the .NET Framework (3.5), Internet Information Server 6.0, and SQL Server< 2005, to provide a robust, intuitive infrastructure and tool set for extending mission-critical back-office systems to any mobile workforce.

A highlight of Advanced Mobile is mfLY! for Visual Studio, an add-on framework and SDK for .NET and Visual Studio designed to address many of its current shortcomings for enterprise mobile-software development.  mfLY! for Visual Studio enhances and optimizes the capabilities of .NET and Visual Studio for enterprise-grade mobile application development.   It provides M-V-C pattern guidance to maximize flexibility, modularity and reuse; an extensible and intuitive Data Access Layer; and a secure
and reliable layer for data transport and integration services.  For example, mfLY! provides a
transport mechanism for Microsoft's Sync Services framework, a glaring omission for
Windows Mobile developers.

SnapSync is Blue Dot’s solution to the age-old problem of efficiently, reliably and securely transporting data between mobile devices and central systems.  SnapSync is payload agnostic and doesn’t care if the data is XML, text files, image/voice or other binary data.  SnapSync supports fire-and-forget functionality as well as request/response functionality, allowing some data to be quietly transported behind the scenes while other data is handled in a real-time fashion.  Finally, SnapSync doesn’t require fancy Web containers or other server-side infrastructure.  Though compatible with those services, it can also be run as a standalone service, making it ideal for small departmental deployments as well as large enterprise-wide solutions.

All Mobile Workforce Management Solutions built with Advanced Mobile support devices running Pocket PC 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5.0 and higher and Windows CE 4.2 and higher, as well as PCs, laptops and tablets running standard Windows operation systems.
